MYTVetS is on a mission to empower youth through the support of veterans who mentor, coach, and uplift their communities. We are dedicated to providing opportunities for personal growth, leadership development, and community involvement. Our focus is to create a positive impact on the lives of youth and veterans alike.

Service doesn’t end with the uniform—it lives on in the communities we serve. Our mission is to help those who help others, building stronger youth, stronger leaders, and a stronger future.

Why Mentoring Youth Through Veteran Support?
Together, Felecia and I have proudly served for over 50 years in the United States military, answering the higher call of service. Around the world, through complex missions and changing environments, one purpose guided us: make the world better through service.
No matter where we were, one commitment never changed — giving our time, talent, and treasure to help those in need. Beyond the uniform, we invested in mentoring youth through hands-on community service and leadership development.
Alongside Felecia’s career as an educator after her military retirement, my own active-duty military journey allowed me to work and live with service members, veterans, and their families across the globe who were deeply committed to giving back — serving as mentors, coaches, educators, and role models in their communities. Their dedication reinforced a simple truth:
Service does not end with the uniform. It evolves.
After retirement, we moved to an area without a strong, visible military community presence. The need for mentorship remained, but access to military-connected resources had diminished. Veterans we encountered still wanted to give back — especially in mentoring programs.
So, we asked a simple question: How do we help our community while empowering veterans who still want to give back?
The answer was simple: We come together.
Not just those who serve or have served in uniform, but also those who advocate for our veterans and believe in building a stronger future for our next generation of leaders — not as individuals, but together. That collective spirit became
"Mighty Vets" (MYTVetS — Mentoring Youth Through Veteran Support).
MYTVetS is built on collaboration. It strengthens mental and spiritual health through service, unites veterans and veteran advocates to uplift the next generation, and invests in a future that will one day lead and protect us all.
